ZLY Hardened Gear Reducer: Models, Specifications & Performance Data
H1:ZLY Hardened Tooth Surface Cylindrical Gear Reducer: Complete Model Range, Specifications and Performance Parameters
Hard tooth surface reducers mainly include parallel axis series and vertical axis series The parallel axis reducer is produced according to the national standard (JB/T8853-2001), and the product has been optimized and designed. It has advanced international standards in the 1980s, mainly including four series: ZDY (single-stage), ZLY (two-stage), ZSY (three-level), and ZFY (four level)
H2: ZLY Two speed Transmission Model and Naming
The ZLY designation is straightforward: Z for cylindrical gear, L for two-stage, and Y for hard tooth
surface (the Chinese convention for hardened gearing). The complete nominal center-distance
range runs from ZLY112 through ZLY710, covering seventeen frame sizes:
ZLY112, 125, 140, 160, 180, 200, 224, 250, 280, 315, 355, 400, 450, 500, 560, 630, 710
The nominal transmission ratios available across the range are 6.3, 7.1, 8, 9, 10, 11.2, 12.5, 14, 16,
18, and 20. A complete model designation typically combines the frame size, the ratio, and the
assembly configuration—for example, ZLY400-14-II specifies a 400 mm center distance frame, a
14:1 ratio, and assembly type II. Nominal input power spans from approximately 37.4 kW at the
smallest frame to several thousand kilowatts at the ZLY710 end, depending on ratio and input
speed.

H2. Application scope of ZLY gear device
(1) The input speed is generally n, ≤ 1500r/min
(2) The circumferential speed of gear transmission shall not exceed 20mis.
(3) Working environment -40_50~'C. If it is below 0 ℃ Before starting, the lubricating oil should
be preheated to above 0 ℃. This reducer can be used for both forward and reverse operation.
(4) It can be widely used in industrial sectors such as metallurgy, mining, chemical industry,
building materials, lifting, transportation, textile, papermaking, instruments, plastics, rubber,
engineering machinery, energy, etc.
Send us your motor power, input speed, required output speed or ratio, daily operating hours, load characteristics, and mounting position. Our engineering team will return a ZLY model recommendation with the applied service factor and thermal verification—typically within one working day.
