Temperature and environmental requirements for WP series cast iron turbine worm gear reducer
Consider Operating Environment
| Condition | Requirement |
| Standard operating temp | -10°C to +40°C |
| Below 0°C | Heat lubricating oil to above 0°C before startup |
| Above 40°C | Apply cooling measures |
| High temperature (>60°C) | Use synthetic oil (PAO-based) |
| Input speed limit | WP worm shaft speed ≤ 1500 r/min |
WP series turbine worm reducer operating environment taboos
1. It is prohibited to use it directly in unprotected environments with high corrosion and high dust. A sealed protective cover should be installed to prevent corrosive media and dust from entering the box and causing wear on the worm gear.
2. To avoid long-term operation under conditions exceeding 120% of the rated load, a torque safety margin of at least 1.5 times should be reserved for frequent start stop impact scenarios to prevent premature wear of the worm gear tooth surface.
