How to choose the S series reducer based on the load
The selection of the S series reducer based on the load can be operated according to the following core steps:
1.First, clarify the core characteristics of the load
Confirm the static/dynamic load, fluctuation amplitude, start stop frequency of the load, as well as the proportion of actual working torque to the rated torque of the gearbox, and distinguish between four working conditions: light load, medium load, heavy load, and strong impact.
2.Matching load capacity and safety factor
Stable load selection service coefficient K=1.0~1.2, medium impact load K=1.2~1.4, heavy impact load K=1.4~1.8, ensuring that the allowable torque of the reducer is ≥ the actual required torque multiplied by the safety margin.
3.Suitable for worm gear and worm material
Choose gray cast iron worm gear+40Cr worm gear for light load, tin bronze worm gear+40Cr quenched and tempered worm gear for medium load, aluminum bronze worm gear+20CrMnTi carburizing quenched worm gear for heavy load/strong impact to avoid rapid wear caused by mismatched material strength.
4.Taking into account other load adaptation points
Priority should be given to models with overload protection for large load fluctuations, and models with strong impact resistance should be selected for frequent start stop scenarios, while ensuring that the rigidity and transmission efficiency of the reducer meet the long-term operating needs of the load.
