Case demonstration of selecting F-series deceleration motor for a conveyor

Case demonstration of selecting F-series deceleration motor for conveyor

Known conditions:

Required output speed of conveyor: 25 r/min

Required torque for load: 800 N · m

Select 4-pole motor (n ₁=1450 r/min)

Working 16 hours a day, starting 5 times per hour

Selection steps:

1. Calculate the speed ratio: i=1450 ÷ 25=58 → Select the standard speed ratio of 58:1

2. Calculate the required motor power:

P = (800 × 25) / (9550 × 0.95) ≈ 2.2 kW

Considering the usage factor fB (16 hours per day+frequent start-up), it is recommended to increase it to 3 kW

3. Check the selection table: 3kW power corresponds to F77 machine base size (suitable for 0.75-11kW)

4. Verification torque: F77 allowable torque 1350N · m>load requirement 800N · m

5. Confirm installation: The conveyor is installed with feet, and the motor is selected as an IEC standard three-phase asynchronous motor

Final selection: F77-Y3-4P-58-M1 (F77 base, 3kW, 4-pole, speed ratio 58, foot installation)
