1. Quick 3-Step Selection Process
1.Match Motor Power to Frame Size
Use the motor's rated power (kW or HP) to select the corresponding reducer frame size. For example, 0.75kW motor typically matches NMRV050, while a 3kW motor requires NMRV090 or larger.
2.Calculate the Required Ratio
The gear ratio equals the motor input speed divided by your target output speed. For a standard 4-pole motor (1400rpm), refer to the standard ratio table below.
3.Check the Allowable Torque
Ensure your equipment's maximum load torque does not exceed the reducer's rated allowable torque. For 24-hour continuous operation or applications with impact loads, apply a 1.5 service factor.
