5 Common Mistakes to Avoid
1. Exceeding speed limits – Worm input speed should not exceed 1500 RPM. Higher speeds cause excessive heat and premature wear.
2. Wrong voltage – Three phase motors are available in 220V or 380V. Verify your power supply matches.
3. Ignoring service factor – Calculate service factor based on load type and duty cycle. A 0.75kW motor running 16 hours/day with medium shock requires SF ≥ 1.5.
