K Series Gearbox Selection Guide – 4 Steps to Choose the Right Model
Step 1 – Define your application
What equipment? (conveyor, mixer, crusher, etc.)
Load type? (constant, shock, reversing)
Duty cycle? (continuous or intermittent)
Step 2 – Calculate requirements
Required output torque (N·m) = (Power × 9550) / Output Speed
Required ratio = Input RPM / Required Output RPM
Add service factor based on load type
Step 3 – Match to model
Find the smallest K series model that meets torque and ratio
Models: K37 → K187
Step 4 – Confirm mounting
Foot / Flange / Hollow shaft?
M1-M6 position?
