K Series Gearbox Selection Guide – Power, Torque, Ratio ,Mounting
The K series helical bevel gear reducer is a common right angle output transmission equipment in the industrial field, widely used in industries such as conveying, mixing, lifting, packaging, metallurgy, etc. When selecting, it is important to focus on four core parameters: power, torque, transmission ratio, and installation method.
1、 Power
The power determines whether the gearbox can drive the load. The K series standard model covers a power range of 0.12kW to 22kW, while the enhanced model can reach over 200kW
2、 Torque
Torque is the rotational force driven by the output end of the gearbox, which directly affects whether the equipment can work normally. The output torque range of the K-series hollow shaft gearbox is generally between 200-50000 Nm, with some larger models reaching up to 117000 Nm
3、 Gearbox transmission ratio
The transmission ratio (reduction ratio) determines the output speed. The basic transmission ratio range of the K series is 5.36-197.37, and the special dual body design can be extended to 33818. Combined with the R series, the transmission ratio can reach 32625
4、 Installation method
The K series hard tooth reducer supports multiple installation forms, and the installation orientation must be determined before selection
Installation position: The K series supports six installation positions, M1 to M6, which affect the fuel volume and oil level
Key selection points:
Determine the installation form (foot/flange/shaft installation) based on the equipment space and interface.
Confirm the angle of the motor junction box (0 °, 90 °, 180 °, 270 °) and the direction of the outlet.
The flatness of the installation base should be ≤ 0.1mm/100mm, ensuring that the reducer is coaxially connected to the motor.
Hollow shaft installation requires the use of locking discs or keys to secure, ensuring no looseness
