How to choose K-series helical gearbox
1.Select Structure Type
K: Foot-mounted, solid shaft
KA: Foot-mounted, hollow shaft
KF: B5 flange-mounted, solid shaft
KAF: B5 flange-mounted, hollow shaft
2.Select Frame Size by Motor Power
Match motor power to the power range of K37~K187 models.
3.Check Output
TorqueCalculate torque with service factor (1.0~2.0 based on shock load). Ensure the value is below the rated max torque of the gearbox.
4.Confirm Ratio & SpeedCalculate required ratio = motor speed ÷ output speed, pick the standard ratio. Keep speed deviation within ±3%.
5.Verify Mounting DimensionsCheck overall dimension to fit installation space.
Choose K/KA/KF/KAF mounting style. Select frame size by motor power. Calculate torque with proper service factor to avoid overload. Match standard reduction ratio and confirm installation dimensions.
