NMRV Gearbox Standard Operating Conditions – Selection Guide for Normal Temperature Environments | I

H1: NMRV Gearbox Selection – Standard Ambient Temperature (-10°C to +40°C)

Most industrial applications fall within standard temperature range. Proper selection ensures reliable operation and maximum service life.

Recommended Configuration:

  • Housing: Aluminum alloy (sizes 025-090) with cooling fins for natural heat dissipation

  • Lubricant: ISO VG 320 synthetic worm gear oil-

  • Seals: Standard NBR oil seals

Key Selection Criteria:

  • Operating temperature range: -10°C to +40°C-

  • Output torque derating: Not required (SF 1.0)

  • Oil change: First at 150-400 hours, then every 4,000 hours-

  • Mounting: Omnibearing – any position acceptable for aluminum units

  • Maintenance Tips:

  • Check oil level weekly – maintain at oil sight glass midpoint

  • Keep cooling fins clean for optimal heat dissipation-

  • Monitor housing temperature – normal surface temperature ≤80°C-

  • Pro tip: For standard conditions, standard configuration works perfectly – no special modifications needed.
