NMRV Gearbox Standard Operating Conditions – Selection Guide for Normal Temperature Environments | I
H1: NMRV Gearbox Selection – Standard Ambient Temperature (-10°C to +40°C)
Most industrial applications fall within standard temperature range. Proper selection ensures reliable operation and maximum service life.
Recommended Configuration:
Housing: Aluminum alloy (sizes 025-090) with cooling fins for natural heat dissipation
Lubricant: ISO VG 320 synthetic worm gear oil-
Seals: Standard NBR oil seals
Key Selection Criteria:
Operating temperature range: -10°C to +40°C-
Output torque derating: Not required (SF 1.0)
Oil change: First at 150-400 hours, then every 4,000 hours-
Mounting: Omnibearing – any position acceptable for aluminum units
Maintenance Tips:
Check oil level weekly – maintain at oil sight glass midpoint
Keep cooling fins clean for optimal heat dissipation-
Monitor housing temperature – normal surface temperature ≤80°C-
Pro tip: For standard conditions, standard configuration works perfectly – no special modifications needed.
