R Series Selection – 4 Steps
Step 1 – Determine the Gearbox/Gear Reducer Status Load Type? (Constant/Impact/Reverse) Continuous or Intermittent Operation? Ambient Temperature? Dusty or Clean?
Step 2 – Calculate the Required Gearbox Specifications Required Output Torque N·m = (Power × 9550) / Output Speed Required Gear Ratio = Input Speed / Required Output Speed
Step 3 – Match the R-Series Hardened Gearbox Specification Table Find the minimum frame size that meets the following conditions: Required Torque ≤ Rated Torque (with utilization factor applied) Required Gear Ratio within the standard range
Step 4 – Confirm the R-Series Gearbox Mounting Method Base (R) for ground mounting / Flange (RF) for direct machine connection
Quick Guide: If you already have the equipment, simply provide the model number – we will match it precisely.
