Four standard installation methods for K series reducers - Quick overview
K series reducers come in four standard installation forms to meet different equipment space and interface requirements
Installation precautions for K-series spiral bevel gear motor gearbox
1、 Preparation before installation
Check the box for any transportation damage and tighten all bolts
Remove rust proof oil, dust, and impurities from the installation surface and connection parts
2、 Foot installation (K-type gearbox)
Installation base flatness ≤ 0.1mm/100mm
Use at least 4 anchor bolts and tighten them in diagonal order in stages
Calibrate with a spirit level and do not allow forced tapping to adjust the position
3、 Flange installation (KF type hard tooth surface reducer)
The flange installation surface must be flat and free of burrs
The bolts should be gradually tightened to the specified torque 2-3 times in diagonal order
It is strictly prohibited to forcefully install it by hammering
4、 Hollow shaft installation (KA/KAF type)
Clean the equipment shaft and hollow shaft inner holes before installation, and apply a thin layer of rust proof oil
Do not use a hammer to strike - use the threaded hole on the shaft end and press the reducer smoothly into place by pressing the bolt and flat pad
The shoulder positioning of the equipment shaft must be accurate to prevent axial movement
Anti rotation arm (torque arm) must be installed to prevent the box from rotating
