Pre installation inspection and speed regulation of gearbox
The correct installation of a gear motor or gearbox is crucial for its reliable and optimal operation. This guide aims to provide a preliminary understanding of how to correctly select and install gearboxes or gearmotors
1、 Preparation before installation
Check the appearance of the model, clean the shaft surface and joint surface, and prepare the corresponding tools and accessories
Clean the surface: Use industrial cleaning agents to remove rust proof oil from the shaft end and flange surface. Be careful not to let the solvent come into contact with the oil seal rubber parts to avoid damaging the seal.
2、 Core installation steps
Accurately align the central axis end, level the base with shims, lock the bolts diagonally step by step, heat install/press install the transmission parts, and prohibit violent tapping. Ensure that the flat key fits tightly with the keyway to avoid bearing impact.
Lubrication and sealing: Drain the factory anti rust oil and add the specified grade of lubricating oil to the 1/2~2/3 position of the oil level window. The breathable cap should be installed vertically, with the oil seal lip facing the oil chamber, and the joint surface evenly coated with oil resistant sealant.
3、 Trial operation and maintenance
Run without load for 30 minutes to check for abnormal noise and oil leakage, load step by step to confirm smooth operation, and change the oil after 200-300 hours for the new machine
