What is the maximum torque of NMRV worm reducer?

NMRV Worm Reducer Maximum Torque Guide

NMRV worm reducers deliver high torque in a compact design, with maximum output torque reaching

up to ‌1800 N·m‌ for the largest NMRV150 frame. For most industrial applications, the common frame

sizes cover a wide range:

NMRV030 to NMRV050: 25 N·m to 70 N·m

NMRV063 to NMRV090: 130 N·m to 390 N·m

NMRV110 to NMRV150: 590 N·m to 1800 N·m

Select the right frame size based on your required torque and speed ratio. Always apply a 1.5 to 2.0 service factor for heavy-duty or frequent start-stop applications to ensure long service life.

FAQ
Q: How to calculate the required torque for my application?
A: Multiply your load torque by a 1.5 service factor for standard conditions, or 2.0 for heavy-duty use. Then select an NMRV frame with a rated torque higher than this value.

Q: Can I overload the NMRV reducer beyond its rated torque?
A: No. Exceeding the rated torque, even briefly, can cause permanent damage to the worm gear teeth. Always size your reducer with a sufficient safety margin.
