GR Gear Motor Selection Guide – Power, Torque, Ratio

1、 Power matching

The conventional power of the GR series helical gear reduction motor covers 0.12-160KW, and the selection should be based on the load characteristics of the working conditions: the conventional power can be selected for smooth and light loads, and a power margin of 1.2-1.5 times should be reserved for heavy load and impact working conditions to avoid long-term overload damage to the motor.

2、 Calculation of torque for gearbox of reducer

Core calculation formula: Output torque=9550 × Motor power × Speed ratio × Transmission efficiency ÷ Motor rated speed. The conventional torque range of GR series is 1.4-23200N · m. When selecting, it is necessary to ensure that the allowable torque is greater than the maximum load torque under actual working conditions. Hard tooth surface models can be preferentially adapted to high impact heavy load scenarios.

3、 Gear reducer speed ratio selection

Speed ratio=motor input speed ÷ reducer output speed. The GR series single-stage speed ratio is 1.62-6.2, and the multi-stage combination speed ratio can be extended to 2700. The required output speed of the equipment can be matched as needed. The standard speed ratio in the sample is preferred, and special high speed ratios can be achieved through the GR.. R dual model combination.
