4. Key Installation Notes
1.Before mounting, clean the motor shaft and reducer input bore to remove any anti-rust oil, to avoid slipping during high torque output.
2.Tighten the set screw on the reducer input end at a 90° angle to the motor keyway, to ensure zero transmission gap.
3.For frequent start-stop positioning applications, select the low-backlash version with backlash ≤15 arc minutes, to prevent positioning accuracy loss.
4.The built-in self-locking feature of the NMRV reducer can hold the load in position after power off, no extra brake is required for most vertical or horizontal positioning scenarios.
